Faster, quieter and much larger colour gamut

The heart of our new Epson Stylus is a new print head technology. The new Epson MicroPiezo print heads have 360 nozzles per inch, 10 channels and an auto-sharing black channel all on a one-inch wide print head. What this means for us is almost four times the speed of our Epson Stylus Pro 9600, a much wider colour gamut and auto-switching between matte and photo black.



11 individual inks

The ink head is able to handle 10 colours simultaneously which includes a new orange and green as well as switching automatically between matte and photo black. The new range of inks enables the printer to produce a wider range of colours particularly the vivid and extreme gamut colours unavailable from previous printers. Based on Ultrachrome technology the new ink set has been enhanced to produce even better black and white printing as well as the better colour gamut. A higher density and improved software enables us to finely control black/white and grey scale printing.
