of Aviation Artists (GAvA) exhibition
2006. Peter Hall presented Ron with the
'Messier-Dowty Trophy
for the Best Work in Acrylics' at the
prestigious Mall galleries in London during
the opening of the GAvA exhibition.

Hamilton won the award for Aviation Painting
of the Year in 2003 for 'Sunlit
Silence'; and again in 2005 for 'First
